The 2023 charter season’s dynamic opening shows
From Barcelona to Nafplion

The MEDYS returns to Nafplion for yet another show, mark your calendars
for the exciting return!

We are delighted to share with you that the MEDYS will once again return to Nafplion for another dynamic 5 day event from April 29th to May 3rd 2023. The world's largest crewed charter show will provide unparalleled insight into the world of Greek luxury charter yachting, highlighting the incredible quality and quantity of yachts available.

The 8th MEDYS will yet again play a part in the dynamic start of the summer charter season, directly following the MYBA Charter Show which will take place from April 24th - 27th 2023 in Marina Port Vell in Barcelona. It was following close communication that the dates of both shows were decided upon in order to facilitate travel arrangements and ensure that international brokers have the opportunity to discover the versatile and wide array of yachts at both events.

Organised by the Greek Yachting Association with the critical support of the Municipality of Nafplion, The Mediterranean Yacht Show has repeatedly proven to be one of the most influential and important events on the yearly yachting agenda.

We are already working towards preparing all the details to make the next MEDYS even more successful than the last and we look forward to welcoming you back for the unique and highly anticipated B2B event.

We wish you a wonderful summer season and look forward to welcoming you back to the picturesque port of Nafplion.

BANNER 2023
9th Mediterranean Yacht Show

Having emerged as the world’s largest crewed yacht charter show, MEDYS marked this year its 10th anniversary since its founding. Once again, it gathered the crème de la crème of yachts operating under Greek professional license, hundreds of industry professionals from around the world, and dozens of exhibitors with products and services related to yachting.

The 9th edition of the Show was held from April 27th to May 1st, 2024, at the port of Nafplion and once again highlighted the dynamics of Greek yachting, affirming its role as the spearhead of maritime tourism.

This year's Show set a record with 102 yachts with a cumulative LOA of 3.9 kilometers registered for participation within just a few days of registration opening, creating an extensive waiting list, while last minute charters prevented some of them from attending. The Show was visited by 760 industry professionals from 30 countries around the world. It is worth noting that only yachts measuring 24 meters and above in length have the right to participate in the Show, which is exclusively addressed to luxury yachting.

Yachting tourism attracts an increasing number of visitors to Greece and MEDYS is the perfect occasion to highlight the region as one of the top yachting destinations globally. The show owes its success to the large number of registered yachts, the great turn-out of industry professionals from all corners of the globe and the contribution of the local CAs. It is organized each year by GYA under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Tourism and with the kind support of the Municipality of Nafplion.
